If you need them be it long term or be it short term then they should be taken. I think two main concerns is some have been treated with depression when it has been a symptom of low thyroid and the thyroid has not been tested even though as a rule all patients presenting with depression before starting medication need ot have thyroid ruled out.The other main concern..I will see if I can piece it together for you from medical resources.

I GO TO A PHYSCHO DOC AND I HAVE NO MENTAL PROBLEMS TO TALK ABOUT SO I DON'T HAVE TO TALK TO THE THERAPIST FIRST. dOC YELLS, CAROL COME ON BACK. I GET DIRTY LOOKS AT PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN WAITING. MINE IS TO HELP PAIN AND SLEEP. CAROL :-)

they always say when someone feels that way as many many do. Do something special for people. It will make you feel better. Even just send a card. A phone call a cake etc. Sorry you feel this way but you saying this could be a wake up call and say I am not going down like this. soft hugs too. Carol :-)

You might just be surprised..... make a list of what is going on now... or start a journal... it's amazing when you go back and see how many little things have changed...

When I found out I had thyroid problems, one of my docs got real excited and said she thinks I'll be able to come off a lot of my meds that have actually been treating symptoms of thyroid stuff. We'll see. I can see how many of my physical complaints the last 2 yrs could be thyroid related.janeTT 11/05pap & foc dx 11/05RAI 11/05WBS 12/05

Hi Carol,

This is a great idea! I know it does help me when I give to others. I love to go pick out cards for my friends esp. I could take an hour to pick out just the right card for a loved one. :)
