Hi, -

All of us here on this list managed to beat those small odds of a thyroid

malignancy; we're all very special :-)

I'm so sorry to hear about your son's disorder ... clearly you are a very

special family :-)

PT = partial thyroidectomy = lobectomy

TT = total thyroidectomy = subtotal thyroidectomy

RAI = radioactive iodine = I-131, used for scanning and treating thyroid cancer

In spite of what you're reading, the LID REALLY isn't so bad, and it's generally
