Guest guest
As an example of how some states do ALS protocols and the like and to stimulate discussion given the fact that stuff like this is what we could in theory see as a result of documents such as the National EMS Scope of practice (_http://www.emsscopeofpractice.org/_ (http://www.emsscopeofpractice.org/) ) These are DRAFT ALS Protocols from Pennsylvania. Understand that while Texas is a large state even compared to Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania is by and far one of the largest land mass states in the lower 48 AND it is very diverse in terms of it's urban to rural mix. PA has a ton of areas that could easily mimic the demographics of parts of Texas in terms of makeup etc. many of my friends throughout PA are screaming how a statewide protocol can't work due to this type of diversity etc. (sound familiar?) _http://www.dsf.health.state.pa.us/health/lib/health/ems/als_protocols05.pdf_ (http://www.dsf.health.state.pa.us/health/lib/health/ems/als_protocols05.pdf) Your opinion counts only if you're opinion is heard, has yours been heard?
