Need Some Support for Someone without a computer

Hi:

I am a Thyroid Cancer Survivor and Volunteer for THYCA for the Toll

Free number. I haven't posted in a long time and I see allot of new

names. This list was a god send when I was going through my

treatment. I was diagnosed 3-1/2 years ago. The first year was

bumby but I am doing well now.

I am working with a woman, Marcie, Aged 32 who is hearing impaired.

Her mother who is the care giver has been doing the interpreting on

the phone. Neither one of them own a computer. She has asked me

questions and I gave her my experiences and I explained that everyone

is different (YMMV) Your Mileage may vary. She has given me permision

to post some questions so she will be able to read about others

experiences.

1. Did you experience Tingling and mucsle cramps after your surgery

and during your hypo period. If yess How long did they last.

2.Did you ever feel anxious, nervous or have panic attacks. Did you

ever pace the floor.

3. Did you notice that you sleep longer?

4. How long did it take you to get back to your old self again?

5. Do you feel depressed and is it from the hormone imbalance?

Did you take medication for this?

6. Did you go to a counselor to deal with your feelings about thyca?

How did you cope with the feelings?

7. Have you ever heard which is the safest thyroid medication?

8. Does anyone know of a list of foods or drugs that interact with

Synthroid?

9. Has anyone had problems with Salivary Glands after RAI?

Marcie would really appreciate if you could share her experiences.
