Guest guest
Shay, Don't give up , maybe you just haven't given the medication enough time to start working for you! Try it for a bit longer sometimes that's all it takes! The last thing you want to do is get into a deeper depression. Hang in there you are not doomed! Guest guest
I agree with this whole heartily. I believe that you said that you were taking 10mgs. If I am right that is way to low. My doctor started me much higher on mscontin and it was not enough and I am now taking a higher dose every six hours instead of every 12. Tale to your doctor not his nurse. His/her nurse has not the right to decide if the dose you are taking is the right one. Be strong and talk to your doctor. Make him/her understand. Do you have someone to go with you to your doctor who will stand up for you? I was having a rough time getting to my doctor when my meds were to low and not helping the pain. My doctors know that they can talk to my husband about me. I have signed instructions that he is speaking for me when he talks to them. He told them that I was in terrible pain and to make a long story short; they raised all of my pain meds. My husband is a most wonderful man and I will be glad when tomorrow is over and he is well from his surgery. 7:30 in the morning. It was supposed to be Tuesday at 1:00 and when this is all over, I will tell you an impossible story about that. About things that should not happen and about doctors that aren't ready to wait to do surgery. Please, all of you keep well as you can and I do care for each and every one of you. Guest guest
To be honest, if 10mg isn't helping, you should be on 30 - 40mg. I know that sounds like a big leap, I've been taking oxycontin since 1999, I'm no doctor, just talking from experience. Onedae Re: Help!!! > I'm only taking 10 mg.
