Guest guest
I used to have alot more face swelling... I think, for me it had to do with the lymph backing up in me... once I started the massage a lot of the 'round' has gone out of my face.... I still have a full face. I'm still overweight.. but it's not as puffy... there's a difference... Guest guest
wow I was amazed to see this post. So far all i know is that my TSH is low but have also noticed a growing puffyness to my face especialy in the mornings. Do others find this to be true also? I'd also love to know more of the massage that was mentioned. hugs, Sue > > My face lost a lot of it's puffiness with my being on Armour.... Guest guest
snip> When you are hypo, is your face more swollen in the morning, and then goes down during the day? My cheeks and eyes are still puffy later in the day. Betty, I get this but am not hypo. It started when I was pregnant with Number 3 and got so bad that towards the end looked like I was wearing fluid boots halfway to my knees. I was on 200mcg Thyroxine then and absolutely *not* hypo. Now, approx. 4 years later this still happens, I wake up every morning with a spare chin. By the end of the day I have very slightly swollen ankles (no-one else notices). Fluid retention is part of hypo, but possibly I have these dregs I can't get rid of? I did start looking into the lympathic drainage this as was posted last week, but got sidetracked (as one does). Donna in Oz.
