We bought the Phonic Ear Lexis FM system in January and absolutely love it.

Right now our daughter is in an Oral/Deaf school and they have a soundfield

system, which helped to some degree. But then last year she lost additional

hearing. Even though her hearing aids were adjusted, she was having to work so

hard to process information that she was becoming easily distracted and tired,

which was never the case before. So we decided that we would purchase the

system on our own, since when she is mainstreamed, she will go to a private

school. It was about $2,700.

Anyways, she is now doing much better in school. We use it all the time, on the

soccer field, playground, car, she'll even have her friend's mom's wear it if

she is playing at a friends house.

It is a huge expense, but I think it was well worth it.
