Guest guest
> Wishing you lots of luck for tomorrow _ i bet you can't believe the day is finally here that you will meet your twins. Can you remind me at what stage you are. Thanks I'll be exactly 36 weeks tomorrow. We thought I'd go into labor right away once we stopped the meds 2 weeks ago , but I've just spent the last 14 days having 3-4 hours of hard contractions per day then they just STOP! But with the boys being so big (we think about 7 lbs each) and all the contractions, my doctor doesn't want to stress the c-section scars any more than necessary ... so ... as long as their lungs are mature in the morning, we're delivering! (doing an amnio first then the c-section as soon as results come back - hopefully!) > > Also, was just wondering what is excatly involved with a cerclage. Do you hav to have an epidural for it? > I know that it is a couple of stitches at the mouth of the cervix to keep it closed, but have never had one so don't know what sort of pain relief is common. A lot of other women here have had them so I'm sure someone will tell you My problem is opposite, mine has never dilated, even with 2 kids, pitocin, the whole 9 yards! good luck to you!
