Thanks :) I'll be exactly 36 weeks tomorrow. We thought I'd go into labor

right away once we stopped the meds 2 weeks ago , but I've just spent the

last 14 days having 3-4 hours of hard contractions per day then they just

STOP! But with the boys being so big (we think about 7 lbs each) and all

the contractions, my doctor doesn't want to stress the c-section scars any

more than necessary ... so ... as long as their lungs are mature in the

morning, we're delivering! (doing an amnio first then the c-section as soon

as results come back - hopefully!)

I know that it is a couple of stitches at the mouth of the cervix to keep it

closed, but have never had one so don't know what sort of pain relief is

common. A lot of other women here have had them so I'm sure someone will

tell you :) My problem is opposite, mine has never dilated, even with 2

kids, pitocin, the whole 9 yards!
