Guest guest
I have TRIED for peace and quiet the last few days. I was HOPING we were getting back to it but Elaine seems to be offended by #62077 and 62078. If I go back and delete them then I will have to delete this one and so on. The first one says pretty much what you say here and to me there is nothing wrong with it or the next one. Shut up happens to be a phrase some of the young people use to show surprise. I just emailed Elaine and said after the awards show the other night one of the interviewers on another program was talking to some of the stars and asking who their gowns were made by. When she would say some of the designers names the interviewer would say Shut up!!! I really appreciate your support. I am to the point if anyone is happy here then so be it. They can either go to the group Doris, Elaine, and who ever started or there are other groups for breast cancer. You can't satisfy everyone all the time. Guest guest
nne, I have learned after 11 years of owning lists that you just have to lay down some law. I am a hard core believer in free speech and hate censorship but on some levels, for the good of the group it can be for the best. So I set up some basic rules. The very first one is Flaming is not allowed on or off list. Anyone who flames another person or me on my lists is immediately removed. The 2nd one is it is okay to disagree with someone's opinion but be respectful and argue with the opinion, don't resort to attacking the person or persons. Another good one is, "if you see something going downhill take your responses off list." I don't tolerate people attacking my list members or me on my lists anymore. We are all adults here and we can learn to have a dialog, even argumentative dialog in a respectful way.
