I hope I didn't upset you (or anyone else). That certainly wasn't my

intention. Actually I was just so incredibly happy with the passion everyone

has

here. I know they were just looking at the ribbon but the board has really come

together and we have tons of plans going on. We just need to finalize them to

get things going. I was just saying hold tight, here come great things!

I'm sorry but I thought you knew that I am on the CHARGE Foundation Board. I

am also the chair of the Adult Services Committee. And I am on this list

almost every single day! -That's my OCD. Actually the truth is this list is my

lifeline. There are others on the board who read the list often such as

Marilyn, Susie, n and Meg.

What I was saying is that there are things happening that the board is

working on and with the spirit and energy of everyone involved here we could all

do

great things------ together!

You see, the board has the dream and the passion of bringing it to those who

matter the most that's the families and more importantly our children!

My intent was to create a symbol that didn't have anything to do with the

foundation what-so-ever. That's why I wanted to go with a ribbon (generic, I

know--but a form that we could fairly easily have made). Keep the ribbon color

and design ideas coming. I want to collect the ideas, present them all, and get

a vote before we decide what the " winner " is. Also, I have a friend who makes

sachets and baby blankets and stuff--she has a pink breast cancer ribbon-shaped

sachet. It's very cute. Maybe when we finalize our design we could do pins and

sachets (she has a special-needs child, and is familiar with lack of

awareness!).

The foundation pins are great, but we can't use the foundations logo without

their permission.
