Guest guest Posted October 21, 2001 Report Share Posted October 21, 2001 Hello everyone: I have been on antibiotic therapy for 2 yrs. and doing well. (Minocycline 200 mg daily-Lederle pellets,generic) Yesterday the pharmacist said he cant get them anymore,thinks they stopped making them,also said cant get doxy in because of whats going on in country. Guest guest Posted November 13, 2006 Report Share Posted November 13, 2006 Serena they do put people on Tetracycline and Doxycycline for sinus but I have found Minocin MWF as I take it does not work for sinus. I would get another compatable med to take with it. Ask your pharmacist if you should take the new med with Minocin. cooky AP 1997 rheumatic Mino I'm on mino for RA. My question... will this antibiotic help with sinus infections and such? I'm sick right now and I'm would like to know if mino will help? Please advise. N-Acetyl Cysteine from health food store or online. It could cause a herx, so go slow. Also, Grapefruit Seed Extract nasal spray helps. Jan Yes, I've been told NAC thins mucus, but I believe it must be taken several times a day. I also use it, but I don't know about long-term use at that dosage.
