Guest guest
Chantelle, I'm sorry you're having a rough time with your taxes; it's hard for me to help with you so far away (I used to work at H & R Block, too so I probably could be of some help!). Here in NB, we have volunteers that help people fill out their taxes; maybe there is something like that in Ontario. Guest guest
Chantelle- I have trouble with letters sometimes too. Mostly b and p. It happens when I'm writing and typing. My brain says p and my hand writes or types b. Its weird, and I don't feel like I can control it. And it is NOT due to depression!!! I know this doesn't help get your taxes done, but I just wanted to let you know that I can understand your frustrations. And look on the bright side, maybe the government OWES YOU 14000!!! (One can always hope!) Kate (PT in NY)
Guest guest
Chantelle, I am so glad posted with a Canadian resource. I hope you can find a volunteer who can help you with your taxes. No the letters and numbers being backwards does not sound like depression, but it could contribute to the depression. It sounds like another area, where you do well enough that folks miss that there are still areas of concern and how hard you have to work at everything to comensate. Guest guest
Hi Chantelle, The only stupid people were those who failed to recognize that reversing letters is a common sign of a potential learning disability. Learning disabilities are not related to intelligence at all. At least I hope they are not, because I have had a learning disability all of my life (spelling and hand writing in particular). But letter reversals can also be related to vision. What people fail to recognize is that it takes a huge amount of effort to study and learn when you have a problem like letter reversals, and now put that on top of sensory issues, and Chantelle you have to be pretty much a genius to accomplish all that you have. By the way, Einstein also had a learning disability so we are in good company. Tim
