I reckon I got over 1 cm extra length. According to Treacy there were three

opportunities?? to lengthen during the surgery. I now possess legs the same

length and height I had when I was 20 years old.

Managed to get both hands either side of my foot today (five and half weeks

post op) and pulled my sock on!!! Great feeling. I've now ditched the stick

hopefully for the last time. Happy Christmas.
