Nope, Ellen, not sleep yet. Andy just heard a male voice talking to our

neighbor's kitten --- and it's now 12:15. We're big animal folks, but I'm an

even bigger sleeper. I'd like to just yank this little fella into our bedroom,

stick him under the covers, and call it a night. However, I have a feeling

that our other critters would consider him an outsider. Gosh, I think I've

lived too long in the midwest.

Martha

An even later note (oh, so off topic; someone hit me with a noodle): Andy

is on his way outside again to help the unknown male voice who's

climbing our roof. Life is most peculiar. We have a central alarm system.

We are careful to the point of paranoia, or so I thought. Now, we're

helping someone climb the roof.

Martha,

My goodness, if a good laugh was ever needed!!!!!! Having just spent 2

nights in hospital with J and her coclear implant, this is the funniest

thing I have yet read and I am glad it came to the list, thank you. A break

from all the usual stuff is always very welcome. Man, I love this list just

as it is depite the frustrations of hours of reading.

Glad the cat got rescued, and who the heck does the strange (hero man) voice

belong to anyway? Or is he a bit of a Shane who sort of disappears into the

night? Any more on the cat?

Still laughing out loud...........
