Guest guest Posted October 21, 2004 Report Share Posted October 21, 2004 I have been diagnosed with a SU --septum going 2/3 of the way down- (and recommended to have surgery) by two REs, but the third opinion RE (and a radiologist) says I have a dip at the top of my uterus and could therefore be BU. Could I have a combo of both? Could I still benefit from surgery to address the septum part? Could the surgeon cut into the septum and realize it's really bicornuate and do something harmful? Or would they be able to tell by the " feel " of the septum as they go? This confuses and scares me a bit, although my surgeon seems very expert and experienced. I guess I should ask him these questions, too...... And thank you so much for all of your answers to my previous questions.
