I just would like to start off by saying how relieved I am to find

out about this site and group. Three days ago I found out that I was

pregnant and was very surprised. I had surgery the end of

december,2001 and have been doing great in losing weight and am

starting to feel really good mentally and emotionally. When I took

the test and saw the results I had a rush of different emotions. I

am happily married with 2 boys-Dalton who is 6 and Ethan who will be

4 next month. When I found out I called BTC right away to let them

know of my situation and the doctor called me back and said they

recommended terminating. I was shocked and very upset about this.

Didnt get a specific answer on why they wanted me to do that but that

was his advice. He said if I did decide to have the baby to call

back an dtalk to the nutritionist. I called my ob/gyn and made an

appointment with him for the 28th to discuss if that is necessary and

to get his advice. I did call back the nutritionist and she told me

to increase to 2 multi-vitamins and add a snack into my day. She was

very personable. Yesterday I went and talked to my family doctor and

he did ease my mind and said to talk to my ob/gyn and didn't think

that I needed to terminate but might need a high risk doctor. I just

wanted to talk with some of you that have been my situation and find

out how it went for you and any advice that you might have for me.

Should I expect more weight lose? Thanks for the help!
