<<I just reached 10 weeks yesterday, and ever since yesterday, I have

felt an almost pressure-like feeling down low. It's not pressure

like the bottom is going to fall out, in fact, it could possibly be

a stretching/pulling feeling but I'm not sure! It scares me because

it reminds me of the feeling I was having a few days before I had my

daughter @ 19 weeks. I know that this baby is much to small to be

causing any pressure like that, but I was just wondering if any of

you have ever had that feeling this early in pregnancy?>>

I felt pressure around 10-11 weeks. It was around the time of my fetus'

nuchal scan and my consult with the peri, and I remember driving back from

the scan, reassured that in spite of the pressure, my cervix was 4.6 cm.

long. The uterus is *almost* full of baby & sac at that point, so it could

have been the lower segment stretching. And yes, it was similar to the

pressure I felt at 16 weeks (preceding a 19-week loss). It was an internal

feeling of fullness, sometimes radiating to where one sits--very different

from round ligament stretching.

<< Could it

just be the feeling of my uterus stretching? If so, would it be that

low? (Basically, I feel it just below the hair line.) I just don't

know what feelings are normal to have considering my last pregnancy

wasn't normal. >>

I'm not sure what feeling it " just below the hair line " means, but I assume

that there is a lot of variation in what people feel!

I think some pressure is normal in any pregnancy. I had a constant, aching

pressure after the cerclage, which either seemed to grow less in the second

trimester, or else I just got used to it. I think a lot of it has to do

with the backlog of blood in the pelvic organs.

Hope you feel better soon. It's no fun to worry about the unknown like

that.
