Lutein issues???

Gee with all these limited foods we could/should not

have our kids eat....it is SO hard to know what diet

to do with your child. We were GFCF for 3 1/2 years

and always had over growth of yeast. Now we been SCD

for 3 1/2 months and have seen great gains.

Now the D.A.N. Dr started us on B-12 injections and we

have the stimming, hand flapping, in constant motion,

not as good of eye contact, etc... :o( But we are

only on our second shot but still, I hate to see the

regression. He has been doing SO WELL.

Now I read about Lutein, I wonder if I should limit

these foods from his diet too. I am not sure what

would be left for him to eat. :( Raising a child

with autism is so difficult. I guess I will go with

my gut feeling on all this and hope and pray for the

best.

P.S.

This page has a good list, but it is just so hard to

know what to do....... :o(

methyl B12?

Is he doing the rest of that program? TMG, folinic

acid, zinc, selenium and alpha lipoic acid and biotin?

I know the studies were done here with TMG, folinic

acid, zinc and methyl B12, not just methyl B12 by

itself.
