Guest guest Posted September 6, 2003 Report Share Posted September 6, 2003 Tinker...that is really great! *smile* and you know directing your food interests toward healthy faire will be a life long journey. We do have some goodies now and then. For instance, I have not had any cookies, cakes or any thing of that nature because I just could not control my lusts for those dearies. Some on this list were talking about taking a cake mix and adding some pumpkin and an egg white. For some days I thought on this and decided to give it a try. Also, I decided to dump the thing if I still could not control myself. I am come a long ways from where I began because I make that cake and only have a 3 point piece after dinner if I want and only if I carefully choose to eat some. I added the spiced called for to make gingerbread and voila....low point gingerbread cake and it is yummy. But, a few months ago I was not ready to have such a thing around. And you know I am not ready for cookies yet but that will come one day too. This is a process and a journey. One that I take on one day at a time with much delight. I am a Weight Watcher Lady for life and will always share about my journey with anyone that will listen because it is such a blessing to me and I want to bless others. *smile* Have a good day! I am truly into WW this time, as opposed to in the past when I would join, use my points for anyole kind of junk, then give up b/c it didn't " work " , LOL. This time around, I am getting all dairy's in, all fruits and veggies, all water, and trying like you to make healthy choices with my points. So far so good, I know I am in no way thinking of quitting this time, like in the past and I think part of it is b/c I am so satisfied from the healthy foods that I am eating.
