Guest guest
Living in Alaska, I would suggest late June - mid July - the view is breath taking.... However, not having traveled to any tropical area's I have that desire also. Either way, as long as it's on a boat, i would be happy. Patti -- RE: cruising If we did a cruise it would be on the west coast. Dh wants to go to Alaska, I want to go south to Mexico, LOL. I have heard that the Alaska cruises are beautiful though, but I like the tropics. Ah well, opposites attract, don't they. Since we live in Florida, we can go from ville, Port Canaveral, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, and Tampa without the cost of airfare, so the cruises are only about a hundred dollars a day. It's a lot cheaper than a hotel with 3 really nice meals a day. In fact, if you need airfare, that would probably cost as much or more than the cruise. We did a 7 day from San in 2001 and the airfare from Miami to P.Rico was more than the cruise. We've probably been about 15 times since the 1st one. We hope to do the Mediterranean next year.
