Guest guest
Well, this is the end of my 2nd week on the new plan. The first week I used 4.5 Flex points the first day, then 3.5, 1, 3.5, 2.5, 2.5 and 3.5 - for a total of 21 flex points (14 left over). This was basically the same as I had been doing which was eating at the high-end of my range and eating my AP's (under the old plan). I wound up with a maintenance weigh-in. The first six days of this week, I used 3.5 flex points the first day, then 7, 7, 0, 0, 5 for a total of 22.5 so far. Today, I'll proabably use 2 or 3, so I'll be at a total of about 25 out of 35 flex points. If my home scale is any indication, I'll have a pretty good loss tomorrow morning at WW. I can't attribute the new plan to either my maintain last week or my hoped-for loss tomorrow - because I've been eating about the same # of total points as under the old plan. This week I've distributed the flex points a bit less consistently then I did last week - don't know if that makes a difference? I really don't think the new plan is that much different from the old plan. The benefit to me is that you have a bank at the start of the week so there's no need to build up a bank if you know you've got an event or to " reverse bank " if you have an event at the beginning of the week. The negative to me, is that if you don't or can't impose some discipline on yourself, you have a lot of flexibility that can actually hurt you (e.g. eating all 35 flex points in the first two days of the week). I prefer to distribute my flex points as evenly as possible and to have 10-14 flex points left over at week's end. This keeps me real similar to the old plan .... while giving me the benefits of the flex plan. Mitch > Good Morning... > > I am wondering how everyone is doing with the new plan. Are you all just eating your target points? Or are you using your flex points? It seems to me we are having lots of losses here. Is the new plan helping? How are the reports at your meetings? > > Thanks for information!! > Sharon > Jesus is the only way to the Father... > > > >
