To the best of my knowledge, Thyrogen is only being used for treatments experimentally at a handful of cancer centers. - NYC " oscrapper " wrote: > yes. Guest guest Posted December 30, 2002 Report Share Posted December 30, 2002 I had a thyrogen scan on Dec 13; however my endo told me, up front, if I needed another RAI treatment, I would have to go hypo. Well, I already knew that from here. Scan was clean, side effects minimal, some nausea, tg undectable, no antibodies. So I am officially in " remission " for a year. Helen.
