PTL and IC would be bigger concerns than rupture...if the uterus has just reached it's limit, it would try to get that baby out. Just think of all of these stories of women who have carried 3, 4, 5 babies. The uterus is PRETTY stretchy! I'm also tall and very thin (well, not quite as thin post-baby!) My belly did just fine and I never even got a stretch mark! I did have PTL, but we were still able to hold off delivery until 36 weeks.
