Well, the first tip-off that this particular PROGURT is not for SCD

is this line:

" Progurt has more than 20 different types of bacteria. "

SCD doesn't allow 20 different types of bacteria.

This is not the PROGURT we are referring to and I am unsure of

why you thought that it was since the only website that has been

given to buy ProGurt was http://www.GIProHealth.com

And from my calculations...

One sachet of the Australian progurt makes 1 liter of yogurt.

5 sachets sells for AU$120 (about US$91), makes the Australian

progurt turn out to cost US$18.20 per quart. That seems awfully

costly to me.

And the yogurt maker they sell, which make 1 quart sells for

AU$120 (US$91 ). Awfully expensive as well, since you can get a

1 quart yogurt maker for about US$15.

Hi Shanna,

> I am done arguing, but I do have a question...

> Bifidus is illegal, right?

> 1)WHY is it illegal??

Bifidum is illegal because it tends to overgrowth. More info at

http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/knowledge_base/kb/bifidus.htm

> 2)Don't ALL yogurt starters contain Bifidus bacteria??]

No. We only recommend yogurt starters that contain at least

Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Streptococcus thermophilus and

Lactobacillus acidophilus (which is an optional strain in yogurt

starter). The list of available starter can be found at:

http://pecanbread.com/goatyogurt.html#start

and
