I have known people who got pregnant because if this. I was always told that

the pre ejaculation released in the beginning can contain some sperm. and I

have known women who swear that they got pregnant this way...so if you don't

want to get pregnant then he should wear the condom during any

penetration...also I should mention another womans story. The very first

time she had sex ever...he pulled out and ejaculated on the outside of her

vagina, but she still got pregnant!!! Now obviously this wouldn't happen if

he moved his penis far from the vaginal area, but if the penis is touching

the vaginal area when he ejaculates, you can get pregnant, though it is less

likely. Maybe not everyone would agree with this, but this is the stories I

heard. I have no experience with it personally. Hope this helps.

I don't know that anyone here has had that happen to them, but I do know

that it is not impossible, since there ARE some swimmers in that pre-stuff.

I have never heard of that happening to anyone that I know, but it is entirely

lol I would tend to believe these stories. I have heard of women getting

pregnant without even having intercourse, so anything is possible. When you

have strong swimmers, these things happen. lol

Hi Tammy

Great name by the way! I found out yesterday that my husband and I

are expecting. We had sex one time in the month of September and he

did pull out. So I am now 5 weeks pregnant and get this...with twins.

They appear to be fraternal. Needless to say we are in shock. I need

to call my surgeon but am scared to death. How do I tell him...what

do I tell him? My ob has me on a special prenatals. Not the regular

ones he normally dispenses. He is very familiar with gastric bypass

and the nutritional needs the women who have it, need. I was very

surprised and very happy with my visit with him. We were trying for

almost 6 years with no success. We used fertility meds and charted my

basal temp and had sex every other day and did everything we were

supposed to do and nothing. I have this surgery, lose 50 lbs, and

poof see what happened? If I would have known it would have resulted

in pregnancy...I would have enjoyed that night more! Crazy thing

about this whole scene...I was waiting for my insurance company to

give me approval for the dep shot. It is not covered under my

insurance but they just sent the approval letter this past

Monday...just alittle too late.

Hey Congratulations...and TWINS, to boot. That's great news. I hope your

obgyn has you on hormone pills, so you don't lose these children too. We've

been trying for 8 years, since the birth of my last child, with no

luck...after having the surgery and losing about 100 lbs, wham, I got prego

too. I'm so happy (for the both of us). I had my wls on Jan 16th 2002.

After 6 months and 100 lbs lighter, I found out I was prego. I wanted to

wait until I lost another 50 lbs, but surprises happen. I was lucky to go to

my obgyn as soon as I found out I was prego(within 2 days) and lucky for me,

because I would have lost this child due to low progesterone too.

This is the original poster. Thank you to everyone that responded. It

gave me goose bumps to read the " other " Tammy's story, because I feel

the next time I get prego it will be twins. And to read her story

just made me wish that was me writing that instead of her. Though,

don't get me wrong, I am soooo very happy that she is expecting and

twins at that. What a double blessing. God Bless You All and I'll

hopefully keep you posted. One way or another.
