I've been preparing my notes for the Pcp apt today for the last week. Made

out the weekly fm chart/pain. Did checklist for all my symptoms. Listed

ALL meds to be refilled/renewed all at same time so social ser. will pay for

them all on one voucher-only allowed 3 times a yr so try to get 90 supply ea

filling so I will only have to worry about paying for my meds 3 mos. out of

yr. I go to county JPS in Ft. Worth, saw young intern at the Diamond Hill

branch-never saw me before. First he went off about me not bringing in my

med bottles themselves instead of listing them on one paper-I left off mg

amts/etc.-I told him they usually have all the meds printed out on 2-3 pgs

from computer with correct dosages/amts & all dr has to do is check refill,

renew for 90 days, or line for any changes. He made out new prescription

slips separately for each med. I told him I needed my stool softner

increased from QD X 60 days to BID X 90 days (because of soc. ser paying I

need the 90 d vs 60 d-it cost the same no matter which) SO he writes only

once a day & not over 3 times weekly & if I need 2 a day-take 2 a day then &

gave it to me for 60 days. That makes me go without it 4 days out of the

week. I have a fissure that consipation kills-which if he need his

medicines would know they cause. So I guess I have to find some money

somehow to pay for stool softners over the counter. Then the knee pain I

have, I told him rt knee hurt a couple of weeks ago getting up & down from

chair & steps. And left knee was so bad this past Wed. (Cold & rainy) I

could barely walk & had to use cane. I told him my lower back killed me

constantly. He asked if I had any recent trauma, I said no, jsut the RA,

OA, & FM. Well he said I couldn't get x-rays then, we know where the pain

is coming from. My ex-coworker/friend respiratory therapist just told me

she had a middle aged man paralysed in hosp. due to arthritis in his

spine-my dad has arthritis in his spine for a yr before his dr listened to

him, of course I didn't remember this to spit out at him at the time. I

just thought to myselt I'll just tell them I fell & let them x-ray them duee

to a fall. Then I wanted a drs' letter to get out of jury duty-he asked why

I didn't want to go=I'd already told him I've filed for SSD & on my 2nd app

& went seen their drs last month. I told him because of the RA & FM I don't

feel like going & sitting in a hard chair all day!!! Well at end of exam,

just before going out of rm, he blurted out I'm not giving you the jury

release, it'll be good for you to go! Again why CAN " T they exp. our

PAIN!!!! During exam he asked if I do any exercise, I told him arhtritis

wather therapy 3 times a week. He asked do they give us a report, i said

no, he said to get them to. Those people aren't drs, or even lic. medical

personnel that lead the classes, and they don't want to give a medical

opiinion & besides that I'll probably never see this dr again-I see diff one

every time I go in being the county system except for my R dr-well I do see

diff ones too there but it's down to 3. And when I try to give them a

report of some kind they tell me thaey don't need it. He asked me where the

paperwork came from I brought in, I said I printed it off internet, filled

in MY pains/symptoms to be put in my chart so it is documented for social

security. He probably doesn't believe me & that's whey I think he wants a

report on water therapy, He doesn't believe when I say I'm going & that

makes me mad as I am going!! So I fax the R dr/nurse to see if I can get

the med release from jury duty from them, I told them pcp wanted them to

give it since it is for my RA, OA, & FM. I just give up!!! Don't know how

you can get the damn drs to listen, chart, so you can have a good case for

your disability case. I'm sure they'll think if an intern thinks it'll be

good for me to sit in jury duty, then it'll be good for me to work at a

desk!!!! I'm sick of all of them, doctors, government, past jobs/bosses!!!

Wish they all would get a good dose of " What goes around, comes around!!! "

When I came out of exam rm, I'd sit enough to get mad, crying, & was going

to tell the young intern off, couldn't find him, so nurse got it all!!! I

told my mom that won't be in my chart though. Nurse said you don't have to

see him again, I told him they were all alike even the R drs, rude, don't

believe you, the R dr looking at blood work last month said disbelieving "

YOUr RF is positive! " I thought, Duh, it has been for two yrs under YOUR

care, yes I've got RA, OA, & FM, it's all in the charts if they would ever

study it, agiain it is the county, overloaded with us dull pts.!!! The

intern today asked do you see a R after examining my hands & noting to nurse

I DO show symptoms, cant feel my bone joints due to puffiness, I said yes, I

have seen them for two years now. My feet get sore & hurt to walk on, My

hands swell up, get paralysed! Shoulders, etc, it goes in one ear & out the

other!! They just don't CARE!!! I just don't know how much more I can

take. SSD has not written back with my denial/approval after seeing their

drs last month & I know it will be a denial. Why can't we make our own damn

money@!!@!!! I'll quit, sure I'll think of things I left out but its so

long now & I'm sure whoever's reading it is bored. Just had to vent it

out!!!!!
