Guest guest Posted August 19, 2005 Report Share Posted August 19, 2005 Hello, everyone! Continuing to read all posts and keeping all you wonderful people in my prayers and heart. Had my first visit with the oncologist yesterday. Even though there was no cancer found in my limph nodes or tissues, he is recommending chemo and a pill to be taken for the next 5 years. I know I have seen these things discussed on this list, but I forget the names of the meds. I will be going in today for a training class and then I will have it all written down for me. I don't guess I'll like losing all my hair, but I am willing to do what it takes to ensure that I'll be around for my family and for this group for many years to come. Chemo starts on Monday. Does anyone know of a good source for nice wigs? My hair right now is nearly to my knees, so there's a lot I'll be losing! Ah, well. It will grow back! Blessings on you all!
