Guest guest
kelby just turned 13 months and is starting to walk everywhere! needless to say, this milestone has meant more to us than any other one! now we have a problem with his DBB...he HATES having it put on now that he is so much more mobile. he no longer has a bottle/binkie which he used to have when he got his shoes put on for nap/bedtime. i've been laying him on his boppy pillow with his blanket and sippy cup...all is fine until i start putting his socks on - he totally freaks out! i have to lay one of my legs over him to hold him down while he is screaming just to get his shoes on. i've tried having his older brother & dad distract him, give him something to play with (something he doesn't normally get, like a phone) but nothing works. it is a total battle and i feel terrible for having to pin him down to get them on - getting ready for naptime is supposed to be a relaxing, quiet time. any suggestions from BTDT parents? anything would help. thanks in advance. (congratulations to all of the other babies on their accomplishments - i have had no time to post lately) Tia & Kelby 8-3-01 EDD 12-17-
