Guest guest
Hi Kathy, I don't have any information for you, but I just wanted to extend a huge hug towards you. I will be sending thoughts of healing and sealing in your direction and hope that you receive some good news on Monday. It is so unfair that you have had two previous losses, only to have to deal with the possiblity of losing this little one. I truly hope that you heal and that you come back to tell us that there is enough amniotic fluid in there for your little girl to survive. I was just sickened by the lack of care you were given by having the amniocentisis even though you have ABS. If, indeed, it is not recommended, I hope that you pursue a medical malpractice suit since you weren't warned of the increased risk beforehand. There's a website with information for women who have had premature rupture of the membranes, or PROM that has a lot of stories and advice for how to best sustain a pregnancy after rupture of the membranes. Their link is: http://www.kanalen.org/prom/ and they do have some good information. I also found a website about ABS that may give you some more information, but I couldn't find any literature about a link between ABS and septum resection surgery: http://www.amnioticbandsyndrome.com/ I hope you're able to get some rest over the next few days. I'm so sorry about all of the news you've gotten. Jasmine, 27 SU, resected 7/29/04 1 m/c, 17wks, 2/12/04 1 m/c, 4w4d, 11/7/
Guest guest
Kathy I have been thinking about you lately and wondered how things were going for you. I am glad to hear that you found out what was wrong with your uterus and that it was not a t. However, I was saddened to hear about the issues you are having in your current pg. I will pray that things do work out. I feel so bad that you have to go through all this. It sounds like the dr should have known not to do the amnio with the other band issue involved. I am so sorry that you have to go through this. Let us know what happens. Words can not express how I wish you did not have to go through this.
