Guest guest
Hi everyone, Three questions: (1) Elaine mentions sugar free bacon in her book, I haven't been able to locate this, if you've found some, can you tell the brand name of it? (2) For those of you who use dehydrators, could you tell me what is a good one to buy or is there anything to know about buying one? (3)If I use a dehydrator on things like vegetables to make chips, will there still be the same amount of nutrients, or do they some how go away? Thanks for any help you can give. (son , 3, SCD almost a month)

It depends on the heat level and the nutrients in question. Minerals will be fine. Vitamins may degrade alittle but it depends on high a heat is used. Guest guest
Hi , You need to check if: 1. the honey is pure honey (sometimes when a label says " honey " only it is cut with illegals which I found out the hard way) and 2. if there is anything to keep the beet powder free flowing (anti- caking agent that may be illegal) Sheila 47 mos SCD, 20 yrs UC mom of SCD 32 mos > You can order Shelton's Turkey Bacon through your health food store. > of this message have been removed]
