Guest guest
I bought a high quality digital scale and we weigh Langan every day on it. We sit her on it (she's only 18 months old). With the every day weighing, I feel like I will notice any strange changes that could be scale-reliability related. I have a spot on her daily log for weight and time. It works for us and saves us the trouble of relying on the pediatrician's office. Our dietician also suggested using your veterinarian if you have one. They have big scales and, if you see them for your pet I am sure they would be accomodating. , mom to Langan, 18 months old and keto kid since 11/03 Problems w/ weighing each week. I had a hard time to day getting 's weight. The pedi office made us wait and said it could be up to an hour to get the " time " to do it. It takes like 2 seconds!!!! I also tried the hospital and they were not helpful either. Do you weigh your kids at home? is still not standing alone and I'm not sure how accurate a home scale will be. Please help! Guest guest
Try your local veterinarian office- We've been goin vor over 5 yrs. Their scale is both metic and pounds. We even have one of the vets who has been very interested in the diet- borrowed the book to see if he could figure out a diet for a dog with seizures. (not sure if that ever worked or not) We can go at any time they're open and just goto the back and use the scale. Kathy/WI
Guest guest
Maybe you should explain to the pediatrician that you aren't simply anal about your child's weight, but that it is critical to your child's epilepsy control and treatment. Talk directly to the pediatrician about it. Maybe you could arrange to go at a time that the office isn't too busy. We never had to wait. The only trouble we had was that the doctor always wanted to write us a couple of prescriptions if we weren't quick enough getting in and out. 8-) Bill Tucker wrote: > I bought a high quality digital scale and we weigh Langan every day on it.
