I googled and found this on a site called medicinenet (about which I

know nothing):

" Although the evidence is anecdotal (5 cases so far), concern is

increasing that cranberry juice and the " bloodthinner " Coumadin

(warfarin) may interact. Cranberry juice appears to enhance the

potency of Coumadin so that the risk of hemorrhage may be increased.

This is not too surprising since Coumadin is known to interact with

many other drugs. Some antidepressants enhance the action of Coumadin

while the antidepressant herb St. s Wort reduces its

effectiveness. "

Actually, the stuff I found on the web mentioned a fatal hemorrhage,

and several cases.
