Guest guest
Hello ALL..... Last Friday afternoon my Endocrinologist called me with some wonderful news. All the scans I have had through Boulder Community Hospital since this all began were compared to some scans done at University Hospital in Denver this past October. Results...............There is no sign of growth in the cancer. What I had in 2000 in what I have now! ! ! For a person with medullary, and specifically MEN2b, which is supposed to be more aggressive, this is the best news (other than a cure) I could ask for. I was honestly stunned. I even had to ask my doctor, " This is good news, right. " I told him I feel like I have been living and waiting for the next shoe to drop. Unless something comes up I don't have to be seen for six months! I still have my ups and downs due to hormone fluctuation, but am hoping this will help me become more of an optimist again! Many people have been praying for me, while in return I have many of you in my prayers. Thank you all so much. A BIG thank youto Dr. s, Dr. Hawes, and Dr. Haugen, for diagnosing me, and treating like a human being. I have been very blessed with my care.
