After my husband passed away, I also wanted to donate the many

prescription medications, but I was very disappointed because I had no

luck. One of my friends had told me that there was a possibility to

donate them to an international organization, but unfortunately I

could not find anyone who would take them. I think that you should be

able to donate the medical supplies.

Best of luck.

Dear Narice -

I also tried to donate meds and ostomy supplies and I was told by

several organizations that it was illegal to give patients donated

meds and ostomy supplies in the United States. I did manage

indirectly to find an organization that did accept them - Doctors

Without Borders. It turns out that the home ostemy care non-profit

that helped my husband donates their extra supplies to DWB, so we

donated through the home care organization.

Good Luck!
