>>> For those giving enzymes, how do your kids manage at school? Both

my kids have a snack and a lunch at school....do your kids go to the

> nurse's office to get their enzymes before eating?

My sons go to the nurse's office and get their enzymes and swallow

the capsules (while other kids are getting their ritalin). You will

need to check with your individual nurse and see what can be worked

out. Some nurse's do not want to open the enzyme capsules and mix in

a drink or food because it might be considered 'tampering' with the

capsule. If your child does not swallow capsules, you can put the

enzyme powder in the bottom of a sippy drink cup and just have the

nurse add water and shake. The child can drink it before lunch/snack.

Add some drink mix powder (fruit drink mix, lemonade, etc) in the cup

for flavor if you like.

Or you can just mix the enzymes in a drink or choc wafer and send in

a lunch bag. Then it is part of his lunch and considered food. He can

just drink the enzyme drink with his meal or have a choc wafer first

and just have lunch. Adding ice to the mixed drink in the morning

will preserve the enzymes until lunch time (about 4 hours).

Here is the recipe of the wafers and other ideas:

Most of these ideas will work for any supplements.

>>> Also, my little one is quite a grazer? How would one handle that

with enzymes?

If you mix the enzymes in a drink, just have him take a big swig when

he grazes. Some people just make littler wafers or mix 1/4 capsule in

a bite of applesauce each time. But the drink may be more convenient.

Personally, I graze and putting an enzyme in my drink...it worked

great.
