Guest guest
Thank God. I have taken the liberty of contacting everyone that I know in south Texas in this wonderful EMS family. We are all praying for him and will continue to do so until he makes a complete recovery. If there is ANYTHING we can do for you or your family, please let me know. God bless. As most of you know surgery went well. Most of the tumor was removed with a residual amount still there that radiation will hopefully eradicate. The next step is Loma University in California. This is the only place that has the " Proton Beam " radiation that this (very rare) type of tumor responds to. Loma doctors are reviewing his medical file and the contact person has already called. We will be calling them on Monday to see who, what, when, and so forth. The support from our family and friends has been absolutely unbelievable. I don't know what we would have done without everyone's help. Words alone can't express the gratitude and thanks. Please keep Rene in your prayers as we are keeping every one of you in ours. Many thanks, Kristi
