Guest guest
Hi, Whew! I hope I finally have managed to get myself signed up properly. I was trying to change my email address and couldn't make that work, so had to unsubscribe from that address and resubscribe with this one. If I've caused any problems to the List Moderators, I apologize. To introduce myself, my name is Arlene (the Dickidene of my email address is my real middle name). I'm 57 years old, diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma (with some foll. cells?) three weeks after my 57th birthday. My surgery was 12/5/02. I have many questions, but won't spring them all at one time. My main question today is are there any others in the group who were diagnosed at approximately the same age? At this point, my main complaint is that I feel as if I've swallowed a golf ball and it's lodged in my throat. My voice comes and goes, and my gag reflex is working overtime. I've been back at work full time since the 23rd of December, and I'm finding it a struggle. I have an Administrative (mostly sit-down) job, but my brain doesn't seem to want to be there. In fact, it's time for me to get on the road so I'll close here and hope to have a few replies when I arrive home this evening.
