Hi Liza,

I was about 15 months post-op when I learned I was having #3! It was an

absolute breeze this time around when compared with my last two pregnancies. I

had no problem getting adequate nutrition, and this was my biggest baby yet

(Casey was 7 lb 5 oz; Charlotte was 7 lb 5 oz) at 8 lbs 7 oz. I had pretty much

slowed down on my weightloss and I gained a pretty good amount of weight (around

30 lbs) of which I have about 10 lbs to lose. (Not actively dieting because I'm

nursing) I ate pretty much like a normal person (though I did try to eat a lot

of protein) and had no problems whatsoever. Physically I had lots more energy

this time (went for a hike the night I went into labor!) and I just felt better

all the way around. I never even experienced swollen ankles this time LOL.

Good luck with the TTC!

Needing all the scoop!!

Hi all,

I just found this site and I think it's a God send. I was planning

on having my TT in the next month, but after a long and draining

fight with my former employer, we have decided to postpone the TT and

try to have a 3rd and last child.

I have a million questions though. First, of course, how does the

pregnancy effect your weight loss? I had my surgery almost 14 months

ago and am about 15lbs away from my docs goal. I'm still losing

weight, but only about 3lbs a month now.

How does one get in enough nutrients to sustain the pregnancy and

have a healthy baby? My daughter was 7.12 and my son was 8.10. I

was 295lbs with my last child and I'm 100lbs thinner now, so I think

this should be a relatively easy pregnancy in comparison.

Any words of advice would be appreciated.

Muah!

Liza
