My PDA was my best friend for many many years... I carried in with me where ever I went and was constantly taking notes.. .without it I wouldn't have survived the worst of my brain fart years!

Now I take a computer with me for most trips... unless it's a shopping trip or something... I have notes, books... EVERYTHING with me that way!!! hehehehehe

Not to mention being able to work on emails in between other stuff and uploading them when I get back here!! hehehehee

I know what you mean about doing it at your own pace. I do things by priority and at my own pace. It might take me a whole day to do one or two things, but I give myself a pat on the back for getting something done. I'm actually feeling a little better on the increased Synthroid, even though it's only been a week. But my brain...well, let's just say, even when I write things down, I forget to look where I wrote them down. LOL!! I have a pda, and I need to make myself get into the habit of looking at it at least twice a day, morning and evening. Maybe at the times I take my meds; 8am with synthroid, 1pm with vitamins/supplements, and 10pm with birth control pill. That would ensure I check my list 3x a day and maybe not forget as much! I swear, the pda was the best investment I've made. I've downloaded all but one book about thyroid problems on it, so I can carry them all with me (about 6 now, I think) in one small device and read them whenever I get time, and I can make notes and hilight and bookmark within them to mark things I want to remember, and most of them let me select parts to print out for the doc or I can always let her read them on there if it's short enough.

Yep, my hubby is the best. :) I tell him that often.

Love,

If you do end up getting a new one and have no use for the old laptop anymore... you can send it to me.... if it's not fixable/usable as it is... I'll strip it for parts and stash them aside in case I have another machine come in in need of repair!!!!! hehehehehehe

I love my PDA. I also have a laptop, but it's old, sluggish and annoying these days, and I need a new one. It has issues just booting up half the time, and I'm upgraded it to it's capacity.
