Advanced Care Paramedics

- Public Health Department

You will provide advanced emergency medical care and transportation for ill

and injured patients, conduct assessments and evaluations, and prioritize

and provide patient care according to basic and advanced life support

program standards, guidelines, and techniques. You are currently certified

as an ACP, hold an advanced paramedic program certificate and valid CPR

certificate, have up-to-date immunizations, and at least a Class F driver's

licence. You have experience in and knowledge of physiological and

pathophysiological principles, anatomy, pharmacology, and pharmakenetics.

You have also completed the MOHLTC core mandatory training, are free from

any communicable diseases as per the Ambulance Service Communicable Disease

Standard, and can provide a current clear police criminal clearance

certificate. A willingness to work all shifts is required.

Rate-of-pay: $29.89 - $31.72 per hour
