Guest guest
Hello group, My doctor has considered sodium as a trigger for my afib. My patterns make this theory plausible. In consideration of this, could someone please help the following questions. 1. Is there any evidence that high sodium triggers afib? 2. If you ingest a large amount of sodium, how long does it take for the sodium to leave your system? 3. I recently had a rather high sodium meal and felt that my heart rate was rather rapid and unsteady. Is it possible for food I ingested three days ago to continue causing problems (slowly subsiding)for me? Thank you for your help.
