You use it as a normal walker but instead of having to lift it like a regular walker, you roll it and use the brakes when you are stopped and the seat is to rest on. I love my scooter but I can't lift it. There are some walkers that are less than 20 pounds that I could probably manage getting in and out of the car. I think you would love it.

OK, I know I'm a little dense here (I don't wanna hear anyone agree!!

LOL), but can you explain how they work? Does someone push you if you

need to sit down, or what? How do you move forward? Or is it just a

walker, that has a seat if you need to rest? What are the handbrakes

for? So you don't roll downhill? LOL. I think a scooter is what I

would want. However, I have a small car (Dodge Neon) and I don't think

it would be able to fit in the trunk. What do you think??

Dawn

I have a Ford Countor and it is a very tight

fit for my scooter. Also you have to take

the seat off and carry it in the back seat.

I have an electroic lift that lifts the scooter

in and out of the trunk but is still more than

I can handle. The lift has to be assembled

and the top part is heavy plus you are

reaching up and out with your arms to get

it on. By the time I get everything done I

am worn out.

Oh yes, I've seen them before. I don't know why but I envisioned a

motorized walker. LOL. Leave it to me....

Hmmmm......doesn't sound like something I could manage on my own either. I

plan on getting a mini van once my car is paid off, but unfortunately that's

almost a year and a half away. Bummer....
