Guest guest
Kim It certainly arrived at this destination. I am impressed at how much you know about G-mail. I have been on it for several months and haven't yet worked out the functions - maybe because I haven't really tried? You will find this easier though on an ongoing basis. Welcome. Guest guest
Bel - Tha gmail archive should help A LOT, since I hate getting rid of such valuable information that is shared by everyone. Flo - It went to the CHARGE list, but it came to my old account. These replies came to gmail, but I haven't figured out if I can send gMail from my Outlook program or if I have to come to the website to send. Do you know? Kim PS - when it comes as one message and then you reply to the CHARGE list - is this the best way to reply or do you still reply to each post individually? Don't want to confuse the list anymore, but it would cut down on posts to open. > I have over 3000 emails in my archive mostly charge ones its so > easy to search > > > > Kim > > It certainly arrived at this destination. > > > > Flo

Guest guest
Kim, Generally, I google " gmail " and go into the website that way, then send and read mail from there. I have never even thought of using Outlook. Ellen, Cole and is might be good for other tips. Generally speaking, I hit the " reply " button on one of the posts in a thread (generally the most appropriate or pertinent one in case I want to leave some quotes from that post). If you don't delete anything from the post you have hit the " reply " button, that plus anything else from that post will be the only things reproduced in your reply, and then it will be added to the thread as a post from you. Does that make sense? ( I hope Pam is reading this if only to see that she is among good friends in the computer illiterate stakes as I barely know what I am talking about). Oh, and while you are replying to a post, you can scroll up and down to read the other replies to refresh your memory on anything anyone else said. I love this so I can just say " as X said " without having to open up another post to remember what X said. I love simplicity. As for going to your old account, have you changed where you want your CHARGE e-mails to go to on the listserve website? If you don't, they will continue to be sent to your previous e-mail address. It's only a click to the new e-mail address and they will be redirected, although the immediate ones may still go to the old one. Gees, I hope this means something to you. It's been a very long day at work. Best......... Flo Flo - It went to the CHARGE list, but it came to my old account. Guest guest
Ahh, thanks Hun. My computer skills are so questionable. I feel really smug now. Have spent all day driving my colleagues mad with stupid questions......... " how do you do word attachments to e-mails? " ... don't laugh!!! How is Uni coming along? You must be really busy now. Lovely to have you back on the list though. Hugs (and no doubt from your little friend Elly who is blissfully asleep)........
