Guest guest
Narice, Thanks so much. The baths do help him alot.We used to laugh that we bought our house because it was the only one we found with a bathtub big enough for my husband!!(Mark is 6' 6'' ) Now we are really getting our money's worth! I will try the other suggestions. Peace, Mark's Wife Mark's wife Hi Diedre, I hope I got your name right. I want to suggest a few things that may help the pain IN ADDITION to the pain meds. Way back in June back pain was Phil's 1st symptom. He found warm baths and whirlpools very relaxing. Check to see if these are o.k. temperature wise. I am only allowed 10 minutes with my blood pressure.< sigh> I don't know if there are similar restrictions for cancer patients. Also positioning helps take pressure off the back. Side lying with a pillow between the knees is the one I remember from my Nursing Home days. If I think of any other ideas I'll let you know. Hang in there. Lots of hugs and prayers God bless you both Narice
