Guest guest
Hi, My daughter will eat something with msg (it is in everything soup, different meats, some bouillon-not herb ox) anyways within 2 hours she will begin to seize and the first one will be a bad one and then for the next 48-72 hours she will continue but they will lessen and lessen. Hope that helps. Jonna (cassandras mom)
Guest guest
My son doesnt have allergies to carrots, but they are high on the glycemic index and at the beginning of the diet they would cause an increase in seizures (mainly myoclonic) He can now in the last few months (almost 3 yrs into the diet) handle two or three carrots (small baby carrots) worked into one meal once a week. A bit nervous to try any more than that and he is happy with that so I wont push. Jenn I ask this b/c I reintroduced carrots to on Saturday and then Sun./Mon. he had myoclonic jerks which we haven't seen in two wks. He's also cutting two teeth so I'm not sure which one is more likely to be the culprit. THANX in advance!!
