He gets out of breath every so often but not for long. Does this normally happen with MS patients? The rest of SA is flooding, but we don't get much rain here at the coast. We're getting some warmer days, but in the evenings it's cold again. So much for spring weather. I have more severe dizzy spells, take my Prednisone for it, it works great. My teeth even hurts, so it's not a good sign at all. Guest guest Posted November 6, 2009 Report Share Posted November 6, 2009 All is fairly well here. My grandmother is out of the hospital and at the rehab wing of her assisted living home. The doctors said she has dementia and some narrowing of her carotid artery. I haven't been out to see her yet because I have a cold so I don't want to spread it. My kids and hubby are better now though. MS is behaving for the most part, just not my bladder. Its miserable when I leave the house. Once again though, the oxybutn is making it worse not better. Still facing homelessness, Mike said he will send me some $, but that will come as a check and I wonder if I cash it will it bounce and me have to pay the bounced check fees....so needless to say I am not in a very good space. Rob is being a butthole, what else is new? I Miss Robbin so much it hurts. I did send out a cry to the local ferret people, I can't clean their cage by myself, it is simply too big, there is the only real good news, they are bringing me a smaller, more manageable cage and a playpen for the guys, and will help me clean their huge cage for sale. I am also going to start selling my crystal collection, probably starting with the spheres and the big madagascan single point crystals. I hate to do it but they are worth $$ so they've gotta go. Next after that will be the jewelry, hopefully by the time that is all gone I will have Robbin back and we can move on. Gives us each a chance to share, and also to hear what is going on in each of our lives.As for me...here goes...my MS is fairly stabilized with the Tysabri, although I do still have trouble with depression, intense fatigue and the trigeminal neuralgia. Sometimes my balance is a bit off; but nothing too extreme.Life here is a bit chaotic, what with kids being...well...disobedient and rebellious. We have our hands full with trying to deal with and correct this behaviour. Coupled with that the 3 of them doing travel hockey, we often use hockey as leverage for behaviour.This weekend there are 6 hockey games, but I've learned to try and carpool with other parents, so I think I have it whittled down to 3 for this weekend. Next weekend I have to travel all the way to land; about 5 hours away. The following weekend is Syracuse/Cicero, and that is a bit over 5 hours as well. Yikes! Then there is Thanksgiving....oy vey! We are going down to Philly area to celebrate with my family; leaving on Thanksgiving day to drive down there. We'll stay in a hotel there. Then, we (my son, husband and I), need to drive another 2 hours to Hershey, PA for a hockey tournament. We'll need to get up about 4:30 in the am, so that we can be at the rink for an 8:15 game. (You have to be there at least an hour prior to game). So much for visiting with my 2 girls home from college. Guest guest Posted November 7, 2009 Report Share Posted November 7, 2009 hey family!! hope everyone's well as can be and blessed. i've been reading,but not much more. im holding firm w/ my ms--16mths no meds. im learning to use my quad cane more. i still use my"rollie"rollator for distances and stuff. i totally use nothing when im home. my yo-yo weight drama is finally stabled off im 108# solid since july. im getting out more w/ friends,im even hostinga girls nite out xmas party dec. 6th. the temp. here in ohio is avg. 45-ish during day,25-30 at night. i forgot about winter here---my poor princess is just mad!! she doesnt get this isnt the worst yet!! lol...she brings her jacket if you say lets potty,she wont take off her t-shirt for nothing!! lol..... i came to the conclusion that i deserve love,and i dont have to accept tainted,crazy love because of MimSy.
