Guest guest
, I had to respond to your reply post because of our similar situations!!! I, too, had a 10 lb. 4 oz. baby pre-op, and am again having a big baby. At my last visit, I measured 3 cm's ahead. At my last ultrasound, baby was measuring 1 and a half weeks ahead. With baby #1 I measured +2 cm the whole time until the last month. Now I'm measuring +3 cm's and I'm only just 7 months! I'm worried, but have gained much less weight with this baby. Will probably end up gaining about 30 pounds total, whereas I gained 50 with baby #1! Anyway, good luck with your deliver in a month!! Are they talking about inducing early? My OB mentioned it...hope so! Vickie " Hi , Congrats! I am due 7/10 and my baby has been 3 weeks ahead of schedule for 3 months. What my OB means when she says that, is that he measures 3 weeks ahead for size of head, length of femur, weight, etc. That doesn't mean they are changing the due date, but they are predicting that I am having an above average size baby. My daughter was born weighing 10 lbs, 4 ounces. this was pre WLS. At my last ultrasound, this baby weighed 5 pounds (I was approx 7 months along). This is big for this stage, and the technician said his stomach is very large, another indication. So...I don't think that their saying the baby is 2 weeks ahead means the due date will change, but may mean they will keep a close watch on you to monitor the size. the great thing about it is, you might receive more level 2 ultrasounds than others get! Best of luck to you!!! Look forward to reading about your progress! "

Guest guest
I'm going through the same exact thing. My first baby was a post-op baby though and he weighed in at 9.8 pounds, 24 inches. This time I have only gained about 27 pounds or so (can't remember). Last time I gained 70! I am due 8/4 but will be induced no later than July 22nd. My OB doesn't want me to have another large baby. I am also measuring ahead by 2 1/2 weeks. Good luck to all of you out there and everyone TTC! Lori~ > , I had to respond to your reply post because of our similar > situations!!! Guest guest
Well, today my PCP put my due date as March 4, 2003 which is also my 44th birthday. What a present this will make!!! My bloodwork was all good, my blood pressure is 120/70 and the PCP wants me to call the High Risk OB and have my first appointment moved to July instead of August. I'll keep you all posted. Keep your fingers crossed. Oh..and don't just say your fingers are crossed because if your posts don't have typos, I'll know you just SAID that LOL Debbie
