Guest guest
I am said to be a good candidate for afib ablation and have an appointment to see the Dr. in So Cal that does the procedure. I am a little scared of the prospect but am really tired of the afib. I am on amioderone now and it isn't working. Any thoughts or input? Dr.Natale is reportedly the best in the U.S. Although he practices at teh Cleveland Clinic, he does ops once a month in Marin, CA. You may want to think about going to him in Marin. Also, have you discussed with your doc trying dofetilide first? I don't know what the relative risks are of that and an ablation...

Mark, I just returned yesterday from an ablation done by Dr. Natale at the Cleveland Clinic. I have had afib for 20 yrs and was in chronic afib all of last year. I am 56 and in good health otherwise. I am beating normally today. It is way too early to jump for joy but I feel like it. ly, the amioderone scared me more than the proceedure. Seek out someone who does it frequently. Dr. Natale now does 3 per day. He and his staff and all of Cleveland Clinic are first class.(I fell in love with , his PA and whoever my operating nurse was) I arrived Monday morning for tests and was home Wed. Got to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the same time. Cleveland Clinic Clearly Rocks! So I am very happy and full of hope. I am happy to share my experience with you.
