Guest guest
I've been a member for a long time but never read things daily. Like most of you I've been on every diet known. The last one was Atkins. At the end of 2 weeks having only lost 4# and all the deprivation I went through I came back to IE. I recently bought the book Overfed Head. It was very inspirational. Since Monday I've really just been focusing on eating when hungry and stopping when full. I've been allowing myself to eat whatever I want but I have to be hungry. It's amazing how much I ate when I was never hungry....definitly an emotional eater here! It's also really sad to think of all the time I've wasted thinking/planning about food all these years. I had always just wished I didn't have to eat period, then I wouldn't have to worry about it. IE is so freeing! Anyway, I just wanted to say I've been enjoying reading your posts everyday now and am ready to end this vicious cycle I've been in for so many years! Guest guest
Barb, Thanks for you post. It re-enforces what I am doing now. I went on the Adkins many years ago and lost a lot of weight. But as with any diet, I put it back on and then some. The book title sounds intriguing. Sandy I've been a member for a long time but never read things daily.
